A member asked:

Does this mean my strawberry allergy is gone if my lips/tongue are fine after eating some?

Cooked or raw differ: Strawberries and other berries have components that will cause your cells (mast cells) to release histamine. This will give you the symptoms of allergy without you really having a strawberry allergy. People who have this type of reaction, can eat cooked strawberries, strawberry jelly or jam without any problem.
