Hard to say : I guess it really boils down to which supplement, and how much you are consuming. Since supplements aren't regulated, there are no studies that test dose dependent side effects. With uncertainties like this issue, i stick to the old adage, " everything in moderation".

Possibly: A growing body of evidence suggests that certain supplements are not only unhelpful but may be harmful. Better to get everyhting in supplement from whole foods and not worry. Even vitamin d can be gotten from seaweed, salmon, uv exposed mushrooms, fortified almond miilk, etc. See http://ods.Od.Nih.Gov/factsheets/list-all/ for good sources.
