Fire ant relief: Benadryl (diphenhydramine) dose for his age (assuming he's about 30 lbs) would be seven (7) ml every 6 hours. If he weighs significantly more, repost question/add comment with his actual weight for dose adjustment. Children's advil/motrin will help pain & inflammation; dose for his age is also seven (7) ml but every 6-8 hours. Cool compresses may help soothe, too.
