It may be normal: If you are a young woman and you have never had sex (including oral sex), and have absolutely no other symptoms of an infection or gynecologic problem (itching, abnormal odor, irritation, sores, pains in your lower abdomen, abnormal bleeding), it may just be the normal discharge caused by hormones. If you are age 21 or older, it is time to have a gynecologic exam, even if you don't have sex.
