Massive eyes: Massive eyes may be a medical problem. Your baby should be checked by the doctor and perhaps by an opthalmologist to be sure there is not a problem that needs treatment.

Development: Baby's eyes are almost fully grown at birth, so they appear very large. As the rest of the body and face grow, the eyes grow much less proportionately, and seem to get "smaller." this is normal. Large eyes are associated with astigmatism.

Unrelated: What you see as big eyes may be a medical problem, worthy of evaluation, but it is unrelated to eventual height.Height is based on genetic & hormonal factors with both parents providing equal input.Boys usually grow to the average of both parents plus 2-3 inches.
