I read a lot so is there a way to prevent myopia from reading?

Nope!: Surgery is the only way. Glasses and contact lenses will allow you to see well, but do not actually change your eye in any way. lasik michigan.

Myopic progression: If you are an adult, reading will not likely cause any significant change in your myopia. If you are a child, then myopic progression may occur as the eye grows and can be stimulated by excessive near work. Some slowing of myopic progression can be seen with dilute Atropine and bifocals.
