Yes: One of the treatments for iritis can dilate the pupil and blur the vision. After stopping the medication that causes this it can take up to a week for the vision and pupil to return to normal.

Yes: Dilating the pupil, putting it at rest, is often part of the treatment of iritis. The pupillary reaction to light in an inflamed eye can lead to severe photophobia. Dilating the pupil will make you more comfortable.
