Legally 18, but...: A consenting adult over the age of 18 can have lasik. Custom lasik is only fda approved over 21. There is some research ongoing for lasik in the pediatric group for medical reasons.

Depends: The youngest age in which standard laser vision correction can be performed is 18 years old as long as the prescription has been stable. In some rare instances, laser vision correction can be considered much earlier.
