Yersinia/pasteurella: Pestis is the bacterium, spread by rat flea; infesting and enlarging lympnodes (bubos). High fever, acral necrosis, seizures. The pneumonic form skips the rat and flea and is passed airborne human to human to cause a lung abcess.
