Cleft lip and palate: I usually don't recommend Paxil (paroxetine) in women due to the risk of this birth defect.

Paxil: Use of Paxil has been associated with atrial and ventricular defects (heart). The risk is general population was about 1% but increased to 1.5 to 2 % (depending on study).
