A member asked:

Which diagnoses are most appropriate for a person with wheezes, dyspnea, and tachypnea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Causes of wheezing: If you have been diagnosed with asthma, and you are wheezing, good chance that's why. If not, a differential needs to be considered by your doctor, and you need pulmonary function tests. You could have upper airway obstruction, you could have inhaled a foreign object, or you could have heart failure or copd, to name a few.
