A member asked:

Can malignant mesothelioma cause a bone tumor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Direct invasion: Or blood borne metastasis from a pleural, chest wall tumor to an adjacent rib or distant site. We'd call this bony metastasis, a bone tumor infers that it started out in a bone, not innocently affected from another king of cancerinvading it.
