A member asked:

What are some of the acute and chronic effects of toluene exposure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There are many.: Low to moderate levels can cause fatigue, confusion, weakness, drunken-type actions, memory loss, nausea, loss of appetite, hearing and color vision loss. These symptoms usually go away when exposure is stopped. Inhaling high levels in a short time may cause light-headedness, nausea, or sleepiness. It can also cause unconsciousness, and even death. Repeated exposure can cause postural tremors.
