Nothing: There is no care necessary for a newborn's uncircumcised penis. Most times the foreskin cannot be retracted initially so trying to pull it back will result in pain and possible scarring.

No care needed: An uncircumcised penis needs no special care in a baby. Years later, when the foreskin is loose enough to pull back over the "glans" end of the penis, the "glans" end of the penis can be washed during a bath or shower.

Clean daily: I usually tell our parents to gently retract the foreskin daily and gently clean with a damp cloth. Waiting can cause infections early on as well as fibrous tissue to form which will make it more difficult to retract and clean.

Gently wash outside: That is all you need to do.

Nothing: Avoid retracting or pulling back the foreskin as this can create a problem.
