A member asked:

Do people with hypermobility syndrome end up having fractures?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, but....: Benign hypermobility joint syndrome (bhjs) is associated with increased risk for fracture. More often patients experience unexpected day time joint paint, night time awakenings, increases in overuse syndromes & dislocations. Patients may also suffer from low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome or fibromyalgia. Of course the critical element in the diagnosis is hypermobility.
