There any laws dealing with commitment of teen for mental health?

Yes LOTS: Yes there are, and a lot depend on the age of the teen and the state you live in. In most states the age of consent for mental issues is 14, not 18. That means a teen can refuse to be committed at 14 or older. If you believe them to be a danger to self or others, you can have them evaluated (taken by police to the ed if necessary), but a committal order may be needed to commit them.

Yes: Every state has laws concerning the process of mental health commitments for all people, including teens. Check with your local law enforcement or county courthouse for details.
