What are the side effects of methadone and xanax (alprazolam) when they are taken together?

Sedation,and others: Sedation, confusion, lethargy, tiredness, yawning. Increased risk of dependence and addiction. If addicted to either, stopping use is difficult. Withdrawal symptoms can be very uncomfortable. Nausea, vomiting, chills, cramping and aching pain, restlessness, insomnia, agitation, hallucinations and seizures. Very dangerous combination.
