A member asked:

What is renal impairment; when would you know you have it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Renal impairment: Renal impairment means your kidneys are not functioning normally. This has a wide range of causes and often goes undiagnosed until routine blood work is obtained. Usually it is asymptomatic until advanced stages (kidney function less than 30%) at which time symptoms can occur.
