BIRTH LINENS: If a pregnant mother delivers at home, the linens are just blood and after birth soaks ( meconium) that are not contagious and can be washed and ironed. They should not be thrown out to a hazardous waste bin. However, if the postpartum materials came from somebody with contagious illness, go ahead throw all of them to the bin.
