What do you think of elective c-section? is it a lot more risky than waiting for regular delivery

Could be: Elective c-section adds the risks of surgery, anesthesia, blood transfusion, & wound healing to what may be an uncomplicated vaginal delivery. Recovery is also harder for moms & i know it's unfair to women who have long painful labors & then end up with a c-section anyway. Review your concerns with your ob, if you had previous complications with vag delivery, many obs are willing to discuss it.
