A member asked:

If my tumor maker: ca 19-9 is 102, is it cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: Tumor markers can be helpful, but are not perfect. Ca19-9 is used for following tumors in the pancreas and biliary tree. The levels can be elevated for other reasons too. Best to discuss with your oncologist.
