A member asked:

Is it possible to feel a cancer tumor inside you?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: It depends on the location and size of cancer. A one cm cancer in the breast is generally palpable. Even smaller cancers of the skin can be felt. However, cancers in most internal organs cannot be felt unless larger than a fist may be not even then, depending on the location and nature of the cancer. Cancers in the subcutaneous lymph nodes can be felt if about 1.0 cm in size.
