A member asked:

How often should i get a pap test if i got the vaccine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No change: Women should have a pelvic exam every year, and a pap test every 3 years, whether they have had hpv vaccine or not. Hpv vaccine does not replace the pap test, it just helps to prevent some types of hpv - and there are other causes of cervical cancer.
