Uncontrolled w/food: Binge eating is characterized by eating large quantities of food, rapidly & to the point of experiencing physical pain. There's a sense of a loss of control during the binge and feelings of shame. When this occurs once a week for at least three months, it's considered binge eating disorder. It is a way of turning psychological conflict into physical action. It is treatable with therapy.

Binge Eating: People who compulsively overeat, though, may use food as their only way of coping with negative emotions. As a result, they often feel that their eating is out of control. They think about food all the time and feel guilty, ashamed, or depressed after eating. http://www.webmd.com/mental-health/eating-disorders/binge-eating-disorder/features/compulsive-overeating-and-how-to-stop-it
