What can pregnant women do to prevent stis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Protected Sex: The most reliable way to prevent disease transmission, short of celibacy, is to have a monagamous relationship with one partner who has no sexually transmitted diseases. This can be tough when one has not yet settled down. Until then, use condoms and choose partners wisely. Pre-coital testing is something that is not unreasonable to some people.
