Time: Serous retinopathy, also termed central serous maculopathy, is a condition of unknown origin which causes the central vessels to leak fluid, raising the retina in that area, and causing a distortion or lowering of the vision. Treatments such as steroids have been proven not to work and may be detrimental. Most cases spontaneous improve over a six month interval and laser might melp.
