A member asked:

Okay to have convergent squint?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sometimes-usually no: In this condition the eyes turn inwards. In childhood it should be evaluated, pathology eliminated or treated, and measures such as patching to bring the vision up for both eyes are used. Eye straightening surgery is commonly required. If this happens in an adult, it is usually due to muscle paralysis and double vision can result. See your ophthalmologist to evaluate.
