how common is liver cancer?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Gurmukh Singh
48 years experience Pathology
Depends on geography: And cancer type. Primary liver cancer is not common in the usa, but it is the most frequent cancer in areas with high prevalence of hepatitis b infection. If metastatic liver cancers are included, then liver cancer is common even in the usa.
