Optometrist: Like anyone else, people with dementia should be routinely evaluated by an optometrist. Dementia sufferers at an elevated risk for visual problems, given shared risk factors (age, vasculpathy, etc.) also, important to identify and correct/treat, as any diminished sensory perception will exacerbate dementia symptoms.
