Neuropathy: Treatment for multifocal motor neuropathy varies. Some individuals experience only mild, modest symptoms and require no treatment. For others, treatment generally consists of intravenous immunoglobulin (ivig) or immunosuppressive therapy with cyclophosphamide.

Yes: True multifocal motor neuropathy is rather uncommon, and is confirmed via EMG and blood testing, and on occasion, spinal fluid analysis. Although some patients have been treated with immunosuppressant agents, I have seen best success with ivig or svig, administered about every 3-4 weeks.
