Yes: True multifocal motor neuropathy is rather uncommon, and is confirmed via EMG and blood testing, and on occasion, spinal fluid analysis. Although some patients have been treated with immunosuppressant agents, I have seen best success with ivig or svig, administered about every 3-4 weeks.
