Others include multi-infarct or vascular dementia, lewy body dementia, frontotemporal dementias, huntington's disease, creutzfeld-jakob disease. Approximately 1 percent of dementia cases are reversible. They include operable brain tumors, vitamin B12 deficiency, thyroid disease, alcoholism or depression.
