AUTISM: Treatment for an autistic child had improved a lot since there was emphasis on autism. They can live and function a normal life with various therapy available.

Increases compliance: ABA, aka discrete trial training or intensive behavioral intervention is therapist-driven behavioral therapy in which a child is immediately rewarded for following precise directions, while off-task or tantruming behaviors are ignored. If it is repetitive, geared to the child's developmental level and intensive 25-40 hours/ week , changes in behavior may occur within 2-3 months, but keep it up.
