What are the symptoms of dehydration?

Dry mouth: Dry mouth is the first sign of dehydation. Dry eyes and tenting waxy skin follow. Then, no urine output. Not being able to sweat is bad. The body gets dry before it gets thirsty. Try to stay hydrated before getting thirsty.

Many: There are several symptoms to look out for and depends on the severity of dehydration. Thirst, dry mouth, fatigue, headache, dark urine, and muscle cramps may suggest mild dehydration. Worsening hydration status may be associated with dry, warm skin, little or no urination, delirium, syncope or low blood pressure. You should seek immediate medical attention if dehydration worsens.

It varies: On of the first is lack of urine production. Most adults would pee every 6 hrs or more,if less than every 8 hr you are becoming dry. If less than every 12 hrs you are likely becoming dehydrated. Dizziness, lethargy, dry mouth & throat all eventually become part of the process. At some point, if there is no intervention, the kidneys shut down & you can die.
