What causes chest pain in teens?

Chest pain: Many causes. Most all probably not serious ie musculoskeletal, chest wall or pleurisy, acid reflux would be common ones.

V. good question: I have seen chest pain in hundreds of cases. If it is occasional, lasts a short time, is intermittent and associated with bad behavior such as temper tantrums and other symptoms such as poor sleep habits etc. An extremely common cause is bad diet, parficularly all thesweet "junk" that most adolescents are taking. This is assuming that medical studies are negative.
