Probably: A missed anal fissure or internal hemorrhoids but also could be a polyp in his colon. See a GI doctor or colon and rectal surgeon for diagnosis. Also correct the hard stool/constipation with high fiber diet and 80-100 oz caffeine free/alcohol free fluid daily.
