Internal derangement: Sounds as though you may have injured an internal knee structure like the meniscus or a cruciate ligament. See your fp/sports medicine/orthopedic specialist for evaluation & treatment options. Use tylenol/nsaid (if you can take them) temporarily for pain & inflammation. Ace bandage may give some extra support until seen.
