What are the side effects of undergoing nicotine replacement therapy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on strategy: With the nicotine patch, it is sometimes redness around the patch site. Be sure to alternate sites. With the gum and lozenge, not much, but people complain about the taste sometimes. With the inhaler, not too many issues. With the nasal spray, some people feel it triggers thoughts of other drugs if they have a history of snorting other drugs.
