What, if any, are the long-term effects of using a nicotine replacement therapy?

Not clear: The long term effects of nrt are not clear, however, dependence upon the replacement is possible. Yet, compared to smoking itself, i suspect the long term effects of nrt pale in comparison. There have been no links to increased cancer or cholesterol or heart disease with long term use of nrt.
