Many things: Typical visits are about general health and wellness. Your provider may as about home life, school and work, relationships and sexuality, tobacco/alcohol/substance experimentation and use, mood and depression among many topics. The exam should be from head to to including a breast exam for females and genital exam for males. The exam should offer the teen a private and confidential interview.

Comprehensive exam: There are many things that a dr might check during the exam. Height, weight, bp, vision, and hearing will be checked. The dr will discuss many topics including school, work, exercise, diet, mental well-being, drug, alcohol, and tobacco use, family life, and sexual activity. A comprehensive physical exam will be done, if needed, in girls, a pap might be done. Urine may be checked for infection, std.
