Not really: Medicare is the best health stability for seniors, covering them in a way that no insurance plan would be likely to. It is expensive, and needs some restructuring but has a very low overhead 1-2% (versus 32-38% for private insurance). Because of the expansion of our seniors, money might become an issue in a few years, and so some changes must be made.
