Not Usually: The disorder is more commonly found amongst women in early adulthood and middle age. I believe this is explained because with age the pelvic joints undergo syndesmosis ( fuse) naturally, thereby negating sacroiliac joint instability, which I have identified as the primary cause of fibromyalgia.
