What are the differences between male and female hormones?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Their levels: Both males and females make estrogen and testosterone. Females make much more estrogen leading to female physical characteristics ( breast development, body shape, etc) whereas males make much more testosterone leading to their physical characteristics (male pattern hair, muscle mass, etc). Also, women produce Progesterone as a consequence of ovulation and lots during pregnancy.
