Aspiration?: It is not entirely clear when the pain comes on (are you breathing in immediately after eating and then having pain, or just have pleuritic pain after eating a meal). In either case, it could be that you are inhaling either food directly into your lungs or getting gastric contents in your lungs. However, cough is the more common symptom of either.... Are you having a cough?
