Depends: As you can see chest pain depends on the cause. If the pain is from shingles the treatment is different than if it is from gastritis or pulmoary embolus or heart attack.

Depends: Medications for CP depends on the cause. For example: costochondritis-- antiinflammatories acid reflux-antacids pneumonia/ pleurisy-antibiotics heart attack/ coronary artery disease- nitroglycerine, morphine.
