A member asked:

How can i help my child in the emergency room or do i have to leave?

Love and support: Every emergency department I have every been in lets parents stay with their children. You can help by offing love, support, encouragement and being brave yourself. Children model parent's behavior, so if you are strong during evaluation and treatment (including procedures), your child will have an easier time with the visit.
