Caregiving risks: This depends on many things. For instance, how socially connected were you before you started caregiving? Are you the only one doing the caregiving, or do you have additional assistance? Do you have breaks from this, where you can mingle with others and do outside activities? Is the person you're caring for, able to be interested in your needs and wants? All these affect the situation.

Caregiving: If you live full time with the person you caretake for and they need a lot of monitoring and assistance - it would be very easy to become isolated from others.
