Variable: Hospice can be either in a facility or at home . It is designed to take of symptoms that bother the patient, ie pain, nausea, vomiting, etc.

Check hospice sites: It's about maximizing quality of life when someone is approaching the end-of-life (curative or maintenance treatments are no longer working). So any care during this time can be called end-of-life care. It usually includes treatments by any means needed to relieve distressing symptoms of any kind.
