Urine pregnancy test: A urine pregnancy test may become positive either a few days prior to your expected cycle or even a few days after depending on the sensitivity of the specific test. If you are concerned, i recommend you contact your physician and order a blood test.

Agree with Dr. M: If you had sex since your last period and miss your period by 4-5 days, do a home pregnancy test. A negative result from a test done too soon does not rule out pregnancy. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Get HPV vaccine
