Loaded question-: Typically, yes - the water is usually free of germs, but not the button or the lever that allows water to flow into your cup, additionally, it is difficult to vouch for the dispenser that might have been violated by some brash employee who didn't use a cup and decides to take a "swig" using his lips that may have inadvertently touch the lip of the water spout.....Enjoy.
