Depends.: This is a personal decision and there are only rare conditions when a pregnancy termination is warranted/recommended (lethal fetal anomalies). Many women/families are perfectly content to have a child with Down syndrome (mongolism) and would never regret their decision to continue an affected pregnancy - whereas others would cringe on that prospect.
